Brad Reed states of his photo, “I love this field. It is near the corner of Fountain and Stiles road. I was facing southeast when I took this photograph. The trees in this scene have intrigued me for years, but I had never found the right light or atmosphere for a great photo, until this morning. My wife Betsy and I were on our way up to Crystal Mountain to go skiing, when the sun popped out and created a layer of fog. I knew where the best photo would be, I just had to drive there before the air got too warm and the fog disappeared. We made it, barely!”
