Michigan Moment: Manistee River in Winter

On a rare winter’s day with wet snow and then sunshine this scene was taken along the North Country Trail overlooking the Manistee River. This area is called “High Rollways” because during Michigan’s logging era logs were rolled into the river and then floated to the sawmills.
