Harbor Beach Fishing Pier on Lake Huron
“I had risen long before dawn intending to get a sunrise shot of the Harbor Beach, Michigan lighthouse. The steady drizzle and patchy fog I encountered along the way gave me little hope of getting a photograph of the isolated lighthouse on a breakwater far off shore. My fears were confirmed when I arrived at the parking lot for the fishing pier that extends into the harbor. At first, I regretted the lost hours of sleep, but soon was captivated by the moody atmosphere on the vacant pier. I recognized this was an opportunity no sunny day would have offered.” ~ Steven Huyser-Honig
