“As the title implies, this was just a fortunate capture. My wife Marie and I had left Fayette and were driving out to the Peninsula Point Light Station. There were thunderstorms in the area and one of them collaborated with the sun to produce this beautiful display. I just pulled over on the side of the road, put on my 4-way flashers and started shootin’!” ~ Christopher Kierkus
