Marshall Memorial Park - Newaygo, Michigan
The Marshall Memorial Park was established in the beginning of 2004 by the Newaygo City Council; to remember Trooper Kevin M. Marshall of the Michigan State Police-Newaygo Post, who was killed in the Line of Duty while serving the citizens of Newaygo. Trooper Kevin Marshall along with all fallen officers is honored every Friday before Memorial Day with a candle light vigil held in the Marshall Memorial Park. The park is located on State Road (M-37), downtown Newaygo. Photography by Stacy A. Niedzwiecki.
