“An upper level storm system moved quickly through the Great Lakes region, producing high winds and waves on Lake Michigan at Grand Haven. Bracing my tripod legs through a chain link fence, I was able to catch images of the waves churned up by the 50 mph+ wind gusts as they smashed against the lighthouse.” – photographer Stacy Niedzwiecki
